Chief Operating Officer

Doug is a versatile leader who blends strategy, operations, and technology to drive OEC’s profitable growth. As COO, he is responsible for Customer Success, Customer Support and Onboarding, Data Authoring, Performance Coaching, Certification Services, and EPMO, including merger integration.

Prior to joining OEC, Doug served as COO for iA American, an auto warranty provider, where his responsibilities included merger integration, risk underwriting, pricing, claims, and back-office administration. Additionally, Doug has held positions in both operations and strategy in the retail and healthcare industries, including extensive experience with consulting firms Strategy& and Bain & Company.

Doug graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also received his MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, achieving top honors as a Palmer Scholar.
